William Linford is an emerging Australian artist who is becoming increasingly well known for his distinctive oils on canvas. Never afraid to experiment with his favoured medium, Bill uses brush, palette knives and at times his own fingers to create the desired texture in his works.
Bill's thought provoking depictions of Australian scenes and characters, sometimes illustrate an underlying social comment or a glimpse of his wry humour. At other times his images may confront the observer. The following images represent a sample of his creative output over
the past three decades. Although he is currently working on his next series, he welcomes enquiries for
commission pieces.
